Resize PDF: how it works

To resize a PDF, open the Resize PDF tool, add your file, choose a standard page size (A4, Letter, or Legal), and download. Scaling happens in your browser and the file is never uploaded.

How to use Resize PDF

  1. Open the Resize PDF tool and add your PDF.
  2. Pick the target page size (A4, Letter, or Legal).
  3. Download the resized PDF.

In your browser vs. uploading to a server

Best for standardizing mixed page sizes before printing so every page fits the same paper.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change a PDF's page size to A4 or Letter?

Open the Resize PDF tool, choose A4, Letter, or Legal, and download; every page is scaled to that size in your browser.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. PDFER runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files are read into memory on your device, processed locally, and never sent to PDFER or any third party. Closing the tab or leaving the tool erases them from memory.

PDFER is a privacy-first PDF toolkit built by Kiril Urbonas. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — see our security model and privacy policy.
